A call, and another move...

Ohhh friends...  this time here in Staley and at Shady Grove has been wonderful to our family!

We went through covid with this church and actually did a wonderful job of it.
We took our kids to Camp Caswell for the first time ever, and they loved it.
We have had SO many wonderful experiences here...  its heartbreaking to think about leaving those behind...

From the long days in our pool....

To Callie getting to ride a Gypsy for the first time, and falling in love with her!

To our huge, beautiful gardens...

Their friends...

Being closer to family...

To our little farm...

And, saddest of all...  our sweet church family...

Someone once told us that your church family will be your actual family.  When you relocate, you're often finding yourself away from you biological family, so you form deep bonds with the 'family' that is around you.  They become family.  They spend your holidays with you.  They attend your kids birthday parties.  They bring you food when you are sick.  They cry with you when you lose your chickens lol.  They become family, and when you leave, you leave a piece of you with them.
So it is with sadness that we leave our Shady Grove family.  We are excited about our next ministry, we are looking forward to it and we believe in our hearts that is Gods perfect will for our lives...
But that doesn't mean we aren't a little sad to leave Staley and Shady Grove behind....

So although we are looking forward to a new church, I would be amiss if I didn't admit we were a bit heartsick...
Shady Grove, you've been a blessing, and we have so enjoyed our time serving!
Now, onto our next page...
